Quick Start Guide

Defaults for Jade Networks products,
IP : 10.0.100.1, Password : jade
or
Connect a monitor and a keyboard to the device and boot device in "Reset to defaults" mode and follow the instruction on screen.

Installation process
place J-Bridge device between 2 switches like so. This is the most common way of installation.
bridge install

Note : Change the default password as soon as possible.

Minimal requirement for all Jade's software. Windows 2k and up.
Install J-Bridge.exe on your windows computer, follow on screen installation instructions.

Configs via J-Bridge.exe
Connect the your device, click menu/Tools/Change IP address.

Changing the Password
click menu/Tools/Change Password

Adding firewall rules

No worry, if entering a rule that will block you from having access to the device. J-Bridge needs a confirmation to accept the rule. If for any reason, new rule blocks access, J-Bridge will revert to the latest working configurations within a minute, giving you back access to the device.
